Suggest a better descriptionIn a pan, combine 2 quarts chicken broth and all ingredients EXCEPT potatoes and chicken. Bring to a boil then simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add 1/2 of the potatoes and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the other 1/2 of potatoes and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add chicken and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring VERY often because chicken will stick.
After it's done, sometimes I add a little more Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and/or hot sauce depending on the taste. Also, I have seen some variations that add corn to it.
