Line 9x13 dish with foil, extending over sides to make handles.
Finely chop or blend 1/2 pecans.
Mix crushed pecans, white sugar and butter.
Press firmly into dish and bake 10 minutes.
In mixer, beat cream cheese, brown sugar, flour and milk.
Add vanilla and eggs and mix well.
Add caramel and blend until smooth.
Pour over crust.
Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set.
Sprinkle with remaining pecans.
Cool completely.
Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
Drizzle with remaining caramel and let sit till firm.
Remove from dish using "foil handles" and cut into bars. Store in fridge.
