Homemade Cheeseburger Macaroni
I used a cast iron Dutch oven :
-sauté onion and garlic until soft
-add ground beef and brown
-drain excess fat
-return beef/onion to Dutch oven
-add beef broth, water, half & half and ketchup and bring to a boil
-add pasta (I used cavatappi - elbow, rigatoni,, etc works too)
-cover and cook until pasta is al dente - stirring occasionally
-when pasta is cooked, add cheese and stir in
