A family favorite growing up, perfect for left-over chicken. Ready in the time it takes the rice (recommended side dish) to cook.
In saucepan, melt butter. Blend in flour and salt. Add chicken broth and milk at same time and cook until sauce is thick and bubbly. Add cooked chicken, mushrooms, and pimiento. Heat through and serve over toast points or white rice.
