Suggest a better descriptionHeat oven to 350. Butter and flour a 4-cup loaf pan.
Sift flour, sugar and baking powder into a bowl. In a heavy medium saucepan, combine butter, chocolate and rum and stir constantly over low heat until it all melts. Break eggs into dry ingredients. Add chestnut puree and beat together with an electric mixer for 1 minutes. Add the chocolate mixture to the bowl and beat again until smooth. Pour the cake batter in the prepared pan and bake under toothpick comes out clean, about 45 minutes - 1 hour. cook cake in pan about 10 minutes then turn unto a rack and cool completely before slicing.
