Chicken in a yoghurt sauce
1) Beat the yoghurt well with an egg- beater. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and chicken to the yoghurt. Mix and let it stand for half-an-hour.
2) Heat oil. Put in cardamoms, after opening each one of them, along with the skin. Add the cloves. After a few seconds, add the marinated chicken with the yoghurt and stir well. Cook on high flame in the beginning, and then on medium flame till the chicken is tender and oil surfaces.
A gentle, semi- dry white chicken dish that in essence captures the flavour of cardamom and clove in a mild yoghurt- soured sauce
