Delicious Date Balls! This recipe is dedicated to my Sissy! These are a favorite of hers, they make a great birthday gift or holiday gift and they are easy to make too!
Beat eggs, add sugar, butter and dates in a frying pan. Cook 10 minutes on low heat or until it has thickened.
Add vanilla, rice krispies and nuts, mix well. Let cool a bit, grease hands with butter and make balls and roll them in coconut. Makes 6 Dozen
These date balls freeze well and can be eaten right from the freezer when the urge arises to have something sweet.
These are more fun to make if you have a Sissy or someone to help by rolling them in the coconut as you are making the balls! Hint Hint Hint Sissy! :)
Yes I'll make you some for your Birthday!
Love Ya Lots!
