A recipe I found in Kentucky Monthly for the Mayan end of the world.
Place mint leaves in shaker along with simple syrup, muddle until the mint is aromatic and add ice.
Add rum, lime juice and Fernet to cocktail shaker, and then shake until the outside is frosted.
Starin contents into a glass over ice and enjoy.
Simple syrup - combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until sugar has dissolved. Let cool.
