Tear the figs in half and arrange about an inch apart on a serving platter. Tear the mozzarella into pieces about the same size as the figs and arrange in between and around the figs. Season with salt and pepper. Scatter the thyme leaves all over and drizzle with olive oil.
Serve with crusty bread.
