Here is a version of the tasty frozen coffee drink made popular by specialty coffee shops. There is a richness to the drink by using half-and-half, but whole milk can be substituted. If you have an espresso machine, you can substitute 3/4 cup espresso for the double-strength coffee.
Pulse all of the ingredients ina blender until the ice begins to break down, about 5 puleses, then blend on high until completely smooth.
Variation:
Frozen Mochaccinos
Reduce the sugar to 1 tablespoon and add 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup.
Variation:
Frozen Caramel Cappuccinos
Reduce the sugar to 1 tablespoon and add 3 tablespoons caramel sauce.
