Suggest a better descriptionSaute chopped onion in butter until soft, about 5 minutes
Pour chicken stock into largest pot
Add Hambone, ham, green beans, carrots, mushroom, onions and potatoes ( if not using pasta)
Bring to a soft boil and simmer for 1 hour
Add seasonings to taste as well as a little hot sauce
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to directions and set aside (if not using potatoes)
Spoon pasta into bowls and add soup
Serve with bread and butter
