Suggest a better description1. Remove excess water from the tofu pack. Place the tofu on a paper towel and wrap. Place it in the fridge while preparing for the next step.
2. String beans - Cut of the stems of the string beans and cut the string beans into 3 pieces (2 if they are short).
3. Snap bean pods - cut one end off and peel the string away from the bean pods.
4. Cut the broccoli into florets.
5. Put salt in boiling 500 ml of water to dissolve. Bring to a boil at high heat. First cook the string beans for 2 minutes. Then add the broccoli and snap bean pods and cook for 1 more minute. Turn off the heat and remove with mesh drainer. Let cool.
6. Rip the lettuce leaves away from the center and rip again into bite size pieces. Place in a bowl. Place string beans, broccoli and snap bean pods on top. Place cherry tomatoes on top.
7. Thinly slice 1/4 of young onion and place on top of salad. Add cucumbers. Cover the salad bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge.
8. Scoop the tofu with a spoon and place on top of salad. Sprinkle the scallions.
9. On a skillet, put olive oil and garlic and turn on the stove. Stir-fry the garlic on low heat until aromatic. Add bacon and continue to stir-fry. When the bacon is slightly coloured, add the 1 tbs soy sauce and 1 tsp sugar. Stir to combine and turn off the burner. Grate the young onion and add to mixture. Finally add the lemon juice. Mix evenly and pour the dressing over the salad with a spoon.
