This makes great meatloaf sandwiches the following day.
Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
In a food processor bowl, combine croutons and dry onion soup mix. Pulse until the mixture is a fine texture. Place this mixture into a large bowl. * Combine the crouton with dry onion soup mix and milk to the ground beef.
Add the egg and combine thoroughly, but avoid squeezing the meat.
Place mixture on a large baking sheet lined with foil. Mold the shape of the meatloaf. Turn the edges of the foil up slightly creating a lip to keep any juices in.
Bake 1 1/2 hours
Combine the catsup, dry mustard, and brown sugar. Heat and serve on side.
*or mix and set aside croutons, onion soup mix and milk until croutons are soft before mashing adding to ground beef.
