Saute the spices in the bottom of the Instant Pot on high saute. Remove from the pot.
Add the vegetables and stir until they start to brown.
When they start to brown, add some water and cook until they are toothsome.
Remove half the vegetables.
Add the pulses (beans, lentils), grains, and water.
Set on beans:
18 Minutes for Mung and Rice "Babby Pot".
25 Minutes for "Mama Pot".
35 Minutes for "Papa Pot"
When cooked, add the half of reserved vegetables.
