A simplified, easy crock pot version of traditional Swedish meatballs.
Place meatballs in crockpot on low. Add beef broth, spices and stir. Let meatballs cook/warm on low for 2-3 hours. Approximately 40 minutes before serving, saute onions in butter until translucent. Add half and half, adding a dash of the previously used spices, nutmeg and ginger and instant coffee. Salt to taste.Thicken slightly, and add to meatball mixture. Cook in crock pot for 1/2 hour. Serve over wide noodles or mashes potatoes.
