Homemade granola bars
1) preheat oven to 350 degrees , then grease a 9-inch by 23-cm dish or cake pan. Place the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and flour in mixing bowl and stir.
2) place the butter, corn syrup, and sugar over low heat and stir until melted. Pour onto dry ingredients and mix well. Turn into the prepared ovenproof dish and smooth with back of spoon- if its getting hard add a little butter to back of spoon and smooth.
3) bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch. Cut into 16 pieces and let cool.
It would also be good to add peanut butter, chocolate or dried fruit!
