Pecan Pie recipe.
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees.
combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla. mix well; stir in pecan half and blend.
2. pour filling into unbaked pastry shell or pie crust. to prevent overbaking, cover edge of the pie with foil.
3. bake for 25 minutes, remove foil, return pie to oven for 25 more mintues.
4. remove pie from oven, let pie cool.
cover and refrigerate within 2 hours.
baking tip: bake the pie until the filling is set and puffs up in the center. check if the pie is set by giving it a gentle shake, the center should remain firm and a knife inserted in the center will come out clean.
