Make dough and chill. It's very sticky.
Slowly saute onions in oil until golden.
Boil potatoes and mash well (no lumps). Stir in melted butter, onions, and vbeaten eggs. Salt well. Cool
With half of the dough, roll out to 10"x20". Spread ~1 1/4 c cooled potato mixture on lower half ods strip. Roll up jelly roll fashion and seal with bit water.
Slice into 1 1/2" pieces (not too skinny) and pinch top to seal,
350F
Put slices cut side down on lightly oiled pan. Brush with melted butter then egg wash.
Bake 25minutes until golden.
Freezes well best if partially baked.
