My own version
Sautee onion and garlic in olive oil
Break up and add pulled pork
Add to boiling water
Julienne beets, cabbage and carrots and sautée
Add to the soup
(It worked to just add the julienned beets to the onions.)
Add juice from ½ lemon, maybe less
Salt and pepper to taste
Add chopped basil
Serve with sour cream
