A delicious syrup to pour over pancakes, ice cream, or plain yogurt.
Mix all ingredients in a pan and let sit for at least an hour. It you are leaving it over night, put it in the fridge.
Heat the ingredients over low heat for about 10-15 minutes, or until juicy and hot.
Serve warm or cold.
Note: I found it plenty sweet, but my husband preferred to add maple syrup to the strawberry syrup when served over pancakes.
